You are right about that. Played "For the love of god" through a Rectifier without effects. I get a much better sound with my 100 dollar transistoramp from 1982 together with a Boos GT 6. But i thought that the Roadster would sound really incriedible together with the GT6? But on the other hand i didn`t try! If i understand you right you would rather invest in some decent effects than in an expensive amp?

My point was that I find new Mesa's buzzy sounding. I meant "old" as Mark IIC+'s, III's and IV's, even though Mark IV's are still in production. But that's just my opinion, so don't take it so seriously.

Hello! I'm also searching for some mesa boogie head! I want to buy a stiletto deuce stege ll top. I would be verry greateful if someon help me where i can find it in Munich for very low price.. Maybe, cheaper then 2000 euros.. Second hand is also my option.. But where i can find that master piece for that price??
