Good news for you Line6-heads (a.k.a. me!

don't be so excited....that looks like a list of endorsed products....usually, what artists use in the studio or live is different.

It's a quote from him, and it says what he uses live. Any more questions?

When I saw them last week I tried to get a good look at their racks(
). Each of them had 3 pod pros and a few other things which were hard to make out. I wasn't extremely close but you could see the pods pretty clearly. It was pretty cool to see them play with no amps behind them.

In one of the latest guitar magazines, they said they used only the Line6
POD Pro
for live and studio. The PODs signal is sent directly to the house PA.

I didn't mean they didn't say that, my point is usually artist LIE about what they use. Probably this isn't the case of Meshuggah, since I see they've been seen live without the amps onstage.
Have you heard about the Marshall
Zakk Wylde
amps? the guy has empty heads on the Ozzy dvd, while he uses stock JCM800's.....Another example....do you really think Darrell from Pantera actually uses those crappy Randalls?, live maybe....

as S.O.A.D.'s Malakian uses Gibsons and Jacksons instead of his trusty Iceman for studio recordings...
also,
is well-known that what they use is never the same of what you'll find in shops. the Wylde's and Slash's Signature Marshalls have nothing to do with the ones we find in shops, as well as the Darrell's Randalls or Gilbert's Laneys.
but that's nothing new.

Zakk says on his own website that he doesn't use the Zakk heads live, and that they are there for a visual effect. His JCM 800s are not stock. They were completely rebuilt by M&G amps. As for Dimebag, or should I say Diamond, Darrell...he has been using Randall amps ever since he won them in a contest when he was younger. I don't know if he uses the sig, but I would guess he does because he grew up playing the amp it was based on. Now, Vai doesn't use stock Legends and even uses Bogner. I doubt EVH's Peaveys are stock. But some artists DO use what they endorse.

Dimebag doesn't use his own signature model any more. He developed it in conjunction with Randall, and he was pretty satisfied. Some time later, Randall developed the Cyclone head that is way better (and cheaper) than the Warhead. So Dimebag switched to Cyclones.
