Midi controllers in the UK

Does anyone know where to buy a Midi Controller in the UK? I've been searching a lot of websites but I couldn't find any.

Thanks
Joe

I ordered mine (Parker MIDIfly) through Digital Village - they don't normally do guitars but it was a special for me.

Turnkey do guitar synths - both Parker and Roland (used them a lot and they're very good - not done mail order with them though). Really depends upon what you want - any high tech company should be able to order in the Roland which I've also tried and is excellent.

Do you want to try them out first?
Do you have a short list of which ones you want?
Have you got a copy of Guitarist to thumb through the ads?

It is not clear to me what yuou want... you being a guitarist I would think you need a MIDI-Footboard (like the Behringer FC-Something, Rocktron MIDI-Mate, Roland FC200 etc...).

From monkeyboys answer I'd think you'd like to have MIDI-access, so you'd need a Roland GK-2 Pickup (and a device for that, like VG8 or GR33)

I can recommend a couple of floorboards:

Yamaha MFC10 - programmable MIDI board - can switch up to 4 MIDI devices at once - you can also plug in 4 continuous controllers as well as using the one on the pedal. Works a treat - it's plastic but very tough and versatile. - about £200

Rocktron All Access - I replaced the Yamaha with one of these. Amazing controller - can switch up to 16 MIDI devices at once - only two continuous controllers but that's enough for me - patch names - latching and non latching switching - excellent pro build quality expensive too :-( - about £550

The Behringer's very well made and cheap too but can't be programmed in any way - fine if you just want to go up and down presets in one MIDI box. - about £120

Let me know if you need any more info.

You can get all the manuals from these from the manufacturers websites

BTW you can buy the Yamaha and Rocktron from Turnkey and Behringer from Digital Village
