If anyone is interested, you can checkout the most recent clip on the
www.adadepot.com website. It's a clip I did to demonstrate the solo tone of the MP-1 with the 3.666 mod. This is something it seems people have a question about (since a lot of the clips have mostly rhythm playing).
Go to the "Cool things" section and click on the "user sound clips". It's the last clip (says RobV on it).
I used my RG520QS with EMG 81 & 85 in it. The only thing I did to the solo tone was add a bit more mids to it (along with the slight delay). Anyways you'll need MS Internet Explorer to hear it.
Hope this helps some others out thinking about these preamps/mods.
