mxr zw od to boost jemini?


hi.im wondering if this is a good combination.i have the jemini and its great for chords,however weak for solos.so im wondering if it will be good to use a zw od to boost it during solos?

yes the gemini is realy great for riffing and power chords but a bit lacking in the mid section. I use a clean booster with a slight mid boost on the eq for soloing. dont know about the zw though.

i like useing the gemini for boosting an overdriven amp , dont think i would use it as a stand alone unit , but if i was going to use it in the manner you are , i would consider a compreser , like the boss one , it works better than you think and can overdrive the input but give you that sustain for solos ............
