As I posted before, I got a 1987x modded by David Bray. Well I put it through ringer last night and it sounds KILLER! I've never played a better amp period. No FX in the loop and nothing up front. Guitar straight in. Its so much tighter than my JMP and the notes just SING. I had it plugged into a Mesa 4X12 w/v30's. I'll be plugging it in my Marshall 4X12 w/v30's and G12H-30's with my
pedal board next practice to hear the difference.
I'll be screwing with the V1 and the powertubes to find which sound best but other than that, it just smokes everything else I've played.
