NAD!!!

Since I traded the last 5150 I had for a 6505+ I just had to trade for this one. I traded my Rivera TBR-1SL for it. The TBR is a great amp if your a rock, blues guy, but I play METAL!!! Anyway, this head is in near mint condition and as a bonus it has undergone the Platinum modification from Voodoo Amps. Over all I think I got a screaming deal! Here are some pics!!

Re: NAD!!!

Awesome! That's a $1000 mod. So with the amp being about $500 on the used market, that's a great deal at basically $1500.

Re: NAD!!!

Its much more articulate, clearer, and sharper, but it has to be turned up past the point where it goes from quiet to loud. Once you get past that points its great, below it and its kind so so sounding. The mod included new Mercury Magnetic transformers. Over all I am pretty happy with it.

Have you owned a stock 5150/6505 before? Because that is what these amps do. They get clearer, sharper and better overall with added volume. at low levels they sound weak, loose and dull.
