Are u looking for a good
keyboard controller for ur home studio? Let me recommend the Yamaha KX-61. I got one a few days ago and it works so well. It comes with Cubase AI software and a downloadable data dvd with about $3500,00 worth of free software, including drum software. It works seamlesly with Cubase and other DAW's. The KX-61 has synth action but if u need hammer action, the KX-8 would fit the bill. They also make a 25 key and 49 key version. I hooked mine up, and less than 10 minutes after installing the Cubase software and drivers, I was recording. Yamaha even included the HALION ONE softsynth, the same technology as the Yamaha Motif series keyboards. All for $299, but they are currently on sale thru musicians friend for $199.
Just a side note, if u want an incredible piano sound, check out "pianissimo" from acoustica.com. It's the most beautiful, most realistic piano sample I have ever played.
