need help with guitar tuner - the right pitch
hey!
i was wondering about this one for a while...
i have a guitar tuner on my small processor (korg px-2), and since this is the first real tuner i've got (and without the user guide), i don't understand one thing.
i presume this has something to do with a pitch, but i don't know which one is THE right pitch (the perfect tuning). it gives a choice of numbers between (if i remember correctly) a438 and a 445.
could someone explain this to me, please. which one is the right one? i could experiment by myself, but i'm sure all of you know how boring tuning is. i would have to turn those tuners for a whole day!!!
btw, it was interesting to me that i actually asked a few guys (great players, and some of them are good guitar-techs) about this one, and not one of them was sure about it. and EVERY one of them explained it differently from others, and each one gave me the different number.
isn't it funny?
