Need Help with Triaxis: Phat or Non-Phat?

Hey guys,

I'm abt to make my first big investment on a Triaxis Version 2 unit.
Was wondering if I can gain some input from you all.
Should I be going for a phat mod or non-phat mod?
What's exactly is fat mod? Is it the same as phat mod?
How do I tell if it's recto board on the triaxis that I am purchasing?
I heard that the recto board is ideal.

Thanks so much guys!

They all have the recto channel on them, the PHAT mod is another ball of wax to dial up the low end punch.
I've head from most that it is overkill. I'd demo a normal 2.0 Triaxis and see how well you like the "Dynamic Voice" settings, if they aren't hot enough for you at 10.0, then I'd hunt around for the Phat mod, but even then, you can send yours to Mesa and they'll update it. I have yet to need any more punch out of my unit, the thing wails!
