Hokay so im buying a a marshall (head- MG100HDFX Head body-Mg412)
for 700$ and ive been saving for awhile but then i come along a fender (head-FM100H 100 watt body- FM412) and its pritty big too i mean its 30 x 29 and also 200 less then the marshall so which should i buy and why, or should i just not get either and why. (if you say neither can you give me a better amp in the 500 and 700 range)

Re: New Amp Need Help
I am thinking of getting a new car. I was thinking a Chevy. You know, that Chevy.
Sarcasm aside, you couldn't be more vague.
There are tons of different Fenders, tons of different Marshalls.
Be specific.

Re: New Amp Need Help
Being that I assume this poll is dealing with NEW amps, I vote for option 3: other/soldano

Re: New Amp Need Help
i vote for a
peavey xxl
, and an ashdown standard with v 30s . it would cost about 650 all in all.
the mg's are not very good, never played the fender but i can say it is more than likely not too high quality either.
Did you check out the carvin sx3000 and ibanez tone blaster half stack. the ibanez TB is nice .
