Hey guys, and gals.
I've been searching for a keyboard the whole spring. I can't say I have the economy to buy one, but my plan is to work my ass off this summer and after that probably buy one. Now, I don't mean like Casio beginning keyboards, I mean like some of the really top-of-the-line stuff like:
Yamaha Motif XS6/7/8, can't decide if I want weighted keys or not
Korg Triton Extreme
Roland Fantom X6/7/8, same issue as with the Motif.
I'll use them for my recordings, like backing tracks and such. I'm still a guitarist, so I will probably not gig with any of them, unless I find myself going for next
Tony MacAlpine.
Though, the problem is.. Yesterday I went and checked out the Cornford Carrera, AWESOME AMP!!! And also I'm beginning to GAS again. Apparently the JEM7RB wasn't enough. But apart from being a little interested in finding a n RG1077XL/2077XL, I'm mostly interested in that amp.
There's not a single chance in the world I'm gonna afford both a brutal keyboard like that (Probably going for the new Motif XS) and the Cornford, so it'll have to be one of them.
Currently, I have my JEM7RB, a modded RG1570, fitted a
fernandes sustainer in it with an evo pup. That one sounds terrible by the way. These are going through a budget, transistor Marshall, MG100DFX. My first amp, have played for 5 years. I never use it at gigs, though I play alot of gigs, but that's mainly in my school (I go to a music school, studying Rock & Roll

) so I play much better amps provided by them.
I've always been rather satisfied with my home setting, after all it's mainly practising I'm doing at home, I have to get a new soundcard or porta-studio to record anything. But I'm trying to change that. So!
The problem is, what should I buy first? The Cornford amp, or the keyboard (Pretty sure on the Motif XS)? Keep in mind, the one I won't buy now, I probably will do what it takes to buy later on, but that can be up to 6 months or maybe a year until I have the money for that.
I can't decide which one I want the most! Ah! Please, you guys are smart, care to give me a tip? What would you've done?
