New G-Major Software Update! Ver. 1.27 is out...

This new update includes a whole bunch of really cool updates, including my No. 1 wished-for mod: a Mapping Response Curve to the three level parameters the Mod Menu!! Translation: real, useful, usable and configurable VOLUME control via Midi!! gotta love it!!

Installed the mod and did some playing around with it today... You can now map Control Change messages to the EQ On/Off independant of the Noise Gate so that you can use your EQ like a lead boost. The newly definable sweep (min, mid, max) on the input and output levels is excellent - works perfectly and lets you adjust the full sweep of your expression pedal to something like a 12% volume change so you can push it for the chorus without having to judge by ear or jump to another patch. The Bypass Level has been changed to match the preset's output level, so it's easier to compare dry and wet signals. There's a dry on/off setting now for people who have parallel effects loops, too... Lots of other goodies that I haven't played with yet including some new compressor control that looks useful... I'm really pumped on TC Electronics and their continued support for this unit if they were Line 6, these changes would be found in the new G-Major 2.0 or even the G-Major XT by now
