New Line 6 stuff

Anyone see this yet?

http://line6.com/stompboxmodelers/

It looks really awesome, and I hate multi effects units.
I doubt I will pick it up, but it looks like it may be promising.

wow, thats actually a great idea... imho, i dont know how people can use an amp modelor through a real amp and enjoy the sound... ive tried it many times, and it doesn't meet my needs.. I do however like the idea of the boss me50, so this new line 6 deal looks like it would be awsome.. id def prefer it over a pod if I were going into an amp.. I wonder how much they list for

Try a pod xt through an Atomic Reactor 112 combo amp (or 212, whichever). You essentially get an all tube amp with all 128 patches of the pod xt and onboard tuner and etc etc that the pod has. Absolutely the best rig ive ever come across, I wouldnt trade a 3000 dollar Mesa for it, and my rig's under a grand. Not to mention that the versatility is just RIDICULOUS. When i go up to college, i can simply take my pod xt out of its dock in the Atomic and set it up with my speakers up at school (where i dont have much space). When I'm at home or if I play shows, i can use it in the amp. EVERYTHING they say about th atomic reactor amp is absolutely true (I guess except for the one guy who didnt think it matched up to a 5000 dollar boutique amp, which really isnt whats promised by the company at all lol), just read the glowing harmony central reviews. I've never seen it get anything less than a full recommendation from any music site thats reviewed it. Simply THE solution to the digital vs tube problem, you can have your cake and eat it too. And if you wanna talk about customer service....when you call the company, its the PRESIDENT's cell phone, and he talks to each customer personally.

Apparently it's about the size of 2 DL-4s. I thought the thing would be huge.

It's cool but like Elcid I won't be buying one. I've down sized on my effects a lot. I'm trying to force myself to be a better player and use my imagination.
