New Line6 Guitarport - One Knob POD, 24bit, USB i/f

Spotted this...

Line 6 Guitarport

when I was sniffing around for Behringer V-Amp info!

Looks interesting, Complete PC-integration removes all of the knob-trickery required on the POD, adds 24bit AD/DA like the V-AMP but check out the online integration planned.....

New Line6 Guitarport

I heard these at NAMM. Very interesting. It struck me as on-line guitar karaoke. The demo that I saw was "Crosstown Traffic", with Hendrix' vocals and band, but no guitar. The sounds are good which is no suprise. It uses the same amp adjustments as Amp Farm, which is another Line 6 product (also easy to use).

The monthly subscription was being touted as "less expensive than a large pizza", so it may be a good $7-10 a month. Especially if you do not have a band, or want to jam at 3AM. This is one to watch out for.

Cheers,
Butch
