Noise Suppressor?

Hey guys just needed to ask a question about the various noise suppressors on the market.

Is there any foot pedal suppressor that can be used when using the distortion on your amp? Because I was using one in a multi effects device, and whether I ran it through the main input or the effects loop, the distortion would always come after the suppressor and it wouldn't function correctly.

Can anyone point out a pedal that can help solve this problem?

whoops, misread your post, thought you were just looking for a good pedal. your really not going to be able to without having the distortion source before the amp. this is why I love rack systems
