Need some input,
Finally got my pedal board back together and put it through its paces this evening. Running a two amp setup,
Boogie Nomad on one side, Rivera TBR on the other. Volume pedal>Tonebone Classic>ABY>Amp Inputs then both FX sends are running to the board and through Line6 stereo modulation modeler and
delay pedals, then finally one side is going through a Boss RC-20 and back out to the amp FX returns. I got all my cables labled properly so this wasn't a wire crossing problem...and there are lots of wires at this point.
Everything works great through the Rivera, but I get nothing through the boogie. I then switched out the loops on the board so that the loop that was running to the boogie was now going to the Rivera...no problem. So at least I know it's not the board, both sides are running fine. I then hooked up a voodoo lab analog chorus I had laying around and ran it alone into the boogie fx loop...nothing. I monkeyed with the fx loop level knob on the back, with the board engaged all the level adjust did was lessen the volume of the amp overall, no effects can be heard at all through the amp. I used to run these same pedals through this same amp with no problem, but it's been a while since it's all been hooked up.
Anyone got any great ideas before I haul this off to the amp tech...need to get the reverb replaced anyway, so I guess it's not all bad. I found an old post by someone with a nomad. I think someone noted that the channel volumes act as the effects send levels...sounds weird but I cranked those up as well...no joy. Can't think of what else to try. I didn't switch out the cables now that I think about it, but those are all brand new George L's that I put together tonight.
Oh well, I'm really frustrated now. But at least the Rivera sounds killer.
