Old MXR Rack Pitch Transposer

Anyone know what the deal on tghis unit is??
I picked it up today. Its a 2 space rack mount with about 5 knobs. its blackish grey in color and it has a single space rack hat plugs into it with its own special cable telling you the digital value you are dialing up.
A ny info would be great. Value, resale, era made, level of quality.. etc

If I remember correctly these are fairly rare and expensive. I beleive they are supposed to be better than the Digitech Whammy and can easily bring $800+....so dependling on how much you payed you got a STEAL!!! I've always been interested but they are few and far between.....

Woah coolness!
I snatched it cor 50.00 from a pawn shop today. It had a 499.00 tag on it but they have had it in there for the last 10 years.. literrally

I havent messed with it much but the few seconds i did, it did remind me of the whammy capabilites as well as the Eventide pitch abilities.

Anyone else have info to confirm or ad to??
