opinions on tone set up?

well, Im running my jem through a budda sd30 on the clean channel opened wide with a keeley ts808. Im digging the spanky tone with light overdrive, very good sustain nice tone but I need the option of more gain at times..so what do u think of running a keeley ds-1 in combo with the 808 to kick on for more overdrive when I need a heavier tone.. Im basically using the amp as a single channel amp. Any advice appreciated...

Should do the trick.... but don't bost your input too much or else you'll blow some tubes (don't get me wrong, you can boost inputs quite a bit on most amps and especially in recent days with no problem but between the two you would be able to boost the signal quite a bit).
