Orange Tiny Terror.
Hey guys i wrote another thread about buying a
peavey classic
. I changed my mind and im really looking into the Orange. What are your thoughts about this amp? It would be perfect for me because i can carry it as handbagage.
Thanks!

Re: Orange Tiny Terror.
I think they're a little overpriced for what they are, but I really, really like mine.
It's definitely very British. Dark, crunchy, overdrive (Zep,
Van Halen
, Sabbath) style tones. The cleans aren't anything to write home about, but they're useable. The overdriven tone is just heaven though. I've got mine loaded with JJ EL84's and Tung-Sol 12AX7's, and I'm totally happy. This is the tone I've been hearing in my head since I started playing.
It's also pretty versatile. I can do anything from BOC to Electric Wizard with mine.
I would buy another one in a heartbeat if they weren't so expensive.

I have been demo'ing a TT locally. It's a nice little unit. They are coming out with a combo soon. If you can live with one channel. It has very usable tone.

Mmmmmmm combo sounds quite interesting. I hope they can keep the cost reasonable with that too.

Re: Orange Tiny Terror.
There arent alot of good tube heads you can get for that price.
I wish I could justify getting one.

1st - convince yourself that your tone is not good enough
2nd - look at pictures of the amp and price them up, compare the list price to what you can get it for and think to yourself, "Man! what a good deal I can get."
3rd - put something up for sale in classified and say, "im not really spending any more money, because I am using money from selling old gear."
repeat steps 1-3 as needed
