Ordered a new amp!

I'm so excited that I just had to share this, I just put in an order for a Genz Benz Black Pearl 112. I've been deliberating over this amp for a few months now but thanks to a nice little tax rebate I decided to take the plunge. Aside from the amazing clean and crunch tones it has a really cool couple of features, you can switch between 4 and 2 EL84's to halve the wattage or between Pentode and Triode mode again to halve the wattage so you can have 30 watts, 15 or 7.5. I'll post some pics as soon as I collect it.

hey bud. i used to have a genz benz el diablo 100c. they are top quality amps. the el diablo was a bit to metal for me-- sounded a lot like a recto.. last time i tried a black pearl, it blew me away! post some sound clips after you get it

Hi Shogun, that is actually the reason I chose the Black Pearl over the El Diablo, I experimented for quite a while with the diablo and while the cleans were great the overdrive was like you say too metal for my tastes. I'll post some clips as soon as I get it
