paul gilbert


hi, does anyone know Paul's setup on Tribute to Hendrix. i cant find any info. i already looked at racer x asylum, but cant find it.

Nop. I only know "Yellow Matter Custard" (Beatles tribute) and "Hammer of the Gods" (Led Zeppelin tribute).

also did a Rush (Cygnus And The Sea Monsters) and the Who (Amazing Journey). Mike Portnoy uses him in all his tribute bands, why wouldn't he?

Edit: Gilbert plays tribute to Hendrix as well as many other guitarists, and he usually just uses his Laney GH (or "similar" sounding Marshall if one is not available). He likes it a lot. Seems that was his first EP it likely was not that setup though. Best of luck finding out.

Had he not given up on the ADA after the first Mr Big album and moved to Ampeg. The guitar is a PGM100
