Paul Gilbert pick split on me, weird! -PICS

Has anybody ever seen his before?

The pick split right through the "spine"...revealing that it's made from 2 thin layers. Weird!

These pictures are all from one pick....

Probably they're made bay cutting two layers of plastic glued together to reach the right thickness, and not by dripping a liquid"dough" into a shape. Cutting a layer would be an easyer and cheaper procedure
