Re: peavey Bandit™ 112 ?

I have one of those it's an okay amp I plug it into a Sear Silver tone vintage cab and it sounds pretty good I can keep up with my friends marshall. If you can save up more get a tube amp of some sort they are better.

I use a dimarzio Ds-1 to boost the sound and i use a DOD super sterio chorus pedal to make leads cut through and my guitar is a Ibanez 350dx with Evos

I have one of those. I'd go for a marshall valvestate or even a tube if you have the money. Bandit112 is...ok at best. I want to get rid of mine haha. Want it? :P

A tube Line6? Where?

I have a Bandit, there pretty good amps really. It can do anything you want it to, and loud, but the tone is worse than a tube amp.

Even Peavey makes tube amps, many of them quite well received. Both the ValveKing and Classic series have 112 combos.

Re: peavey Bandit™ 112 ?

I would advice against a Bandit, I don't think the drive channel is veru usable for anything besides thrash metal or something of that sort. But you already made the right decision, good on you!

I never played a Laney, but from what I see they are the best priced tube amps you can get, and they seem to get good rviews. I say it's a good choice.
