Peavey + Joe Satriani = NAMM '04


I entered a contest on Peavey's site, so now I get the e-mail newsletter Anyways, check this out:

WINTER NAMM 2004 PEAVEY ARTIST AUTOGRAPH AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE*
Last year, Winter NAMM was a tremendous success for Peavey and this year looks to be no different. he is "supposedly" working with Sammy again on a new album.
i've been waiting for him to give the O.K. to Peavey to start production on a couple new products that were in last years catalog!!
maybe we'll at least get to see/hear some new material this year.

Yep! This is the first Peavey amp I've been excited about since I bought my Pacer (my very first amplifier) in 1977!! Check out this link for the press release & pics courtesy Harmony Central:

Wow, I didn't realize Joe used Peavy's so much.

I remember back in the day when he was using the Roland Jazz Chorus
and an old Marshall head with some old Marshall cabs.

I also wonder if he would actually use his signature amp in the studio,
or if it's just for on stage.

BIG difference in sound generally.

I heard it on G3 and the thing sounds terrible! .................ok it sounds freaking amazing!!! I couldn't hold it in! My uncle was at NAMM all weekend and got to see him showing his amp and new guitar stuff off. Said it sounded KILLER! I'm selling an amp right now to get some money to save up for it.
