So i got myself a
Peavey Rockmaster preamp today. I have no idea how old the tubes in it are! I'm having a bit of a hard time getting good tone out of it. As of now, it sounds pretty blah. I'd say the distortion sounds a lot like a Crate amp meets a
Boss Metal Zone {eww}. What are settings/tips you all would offer to make it sound nicer?
