peavy classic 30 - what do you think?

hi

im thinking of buy a peavy classic 30 and wonder what you who own a peavy classic model thinks about it.
could it possible sound better with a tubescreamer?

I really like mine (esp. for the $$). *I changed the middle gain tube and speaker...very smooth little amp. *I usually use the clean channel with various od/distortion pedals. *I've used a TS9 with it, but usually as a boost into either the dirty cahnnel or other pedal.

how would you describe the sound?
i have only test one ones i my life and the storekeeper said that it was broke somewhere and it really sounded crap but somewhere inside a could here a little bit og satch/pg
