pedal question


ok so i never owned a pedal in my life, so im a noob to the whole pedal thing. being its xmas time my parents bought me a chorus pedal. now on christmas day im gonna wanna play this thing really bad. but how do i set it up exactly? i have a v3 head with built in effects loop. do i run it into the effects loop? or directly into the amp?

You can run chorus pedals either before or after. Most people are going to say loop, but just go by your ears. Distortion/OD pedals, wahs, fuzzes (etc...) almost always go in front of the amp though.

There's really nothing more to it. Just plug in and play.
