I was pointed to this website to find info on when an Ibanez pedal is manufactured based on the serial number but so far have been unable to find it, the search function didn't help me much either

So is there such a thing, or was I misinformed?

It's possible that you were directed here because there's a lot of info on Ibanez guitars. I don't know about the effects side of things, but post the serial number and somebody should be able to date it for you.

It's a PT9 phaser, the number is 462280. Thanks!

they had a page on their website dating the old TS9s and possible the 808's back to which came first and witch used the best electronics by todays standards
