you might still be able to find em at MF or GC on closeout for 80 bucks.
Had one of the original Magicstomps, and loved the effects, and simplicity of stage-use, but it was buggy, so I took it back. I hope they ironed all that out with the second inception, cause it's a great sounding pedal.

If it sounds anything like the Chorus on the G-Major, it would be one sweet sounding Analog Chorus.
They do, and yup, they do sound sensational (after all, it's the choice of Eric Johnson) - I've got one at home floating around somewhere, but frankly you can pick up a G-Major for LESS than TC's stompbox chorus pedal, and the chorus in the G-Major is pretty much based on the original stompbox's sound anyway - last one I saw was something ludicrous like $550AUD for a chorus pedal...... hey, um, maybe mine should be up for sale ...... (joke)

Re: PEDALS?

chorus wise get a fulltone choralflange. blows this other **** (boss ch-1?come on now.) away.
delay, depends on what you're using it for and how long you want it. short slap back stuff, the ibanez de-7 has a really cool analog echo sound, mid length go with a boss dm-2 or dm-3 as they are ****ing legendary, or that huge delay modeler from line 6 is nice

Re: PEDALS?

What the hell? What do you mean you need at least 3 pedals? You realize you don't have to use any pedals? Don't buy 'em just to have 'em. You know what I'm saying?

Re: PEDALS?

Boss CS-3, DD-20 and one of the Chorus Pedals they go.

Is that the sound you are looking for or is it just a case of you want something to go with the new amp?

Re: PEDALS?

Am I the only one that hates the Boss Delay pedals?
I have a DD6 and I cant stand the way it adds so much high end to the repeats. It's almost unuseable. Is this just something with the DD6 that the DD3 doesnt do?

yeah the DD3 sounds a lot more analog than the DD6.

if the only thing you don't like is how much high end there is you can send your pedal to analogman for a high cut switch http://www.analogman.com/dd5.htm

And another vote for Magic Stomp. Hey, if it's good enough for Allan Holdsworth...
