Delrin resin is a Dupont material that is almost metal like in it's properties. It's extremely wear resistant, lightweight and will last an extremely long time. You can make it in just about every color you can think of. It's also used for car parts, computer cases, and just about every single heavy duty application of plasic.
V Resin is a very cheap plastic resin made primarily of vinyl.
Hope this helps....

Right now I'm using 2mm dunlop delrins and they do last for a long time. Great picks.

I need something like 1mm or under, I found if I use really think picks definition becomes smoothed out and I don't get some attack I need on riffs.

you could try dunlop stubbys. You can get them small or big(shape), and 1mm, 2mm or 3mm and they have a pointed end that goes quite thin at the tip. I usually use small 2mm stubbies and can get a warm round tone using the edge and a sharper attack brighter tone using the tip

yeah I tried those for a long time. they work great but are just too small to get a good grip on huge chords and stuff. The big ones are just TOO big. I need a stubby the same size and practical shape of a normal pick.

Try out Dunlop Tortex H3's. They are purple picks with a slight powder coating on them which makes them very "grippy." They won't slip out of your fingers. The size and shape is absolutely perfect, in my opinion. I know what you are talking about by saying that the stubbys are too small and that the "regular" sizes picks are too big. I've tested a lot of them out. The best picks that I can find are the H3's.

They are the picks to the far right in this picture:

You can order a pack through their website.
