Pickguards... - ??
Anything special or just a slab of plastic with holes? *Just want to know if it's possible to make my own. *(I have access to the equipment through my dad's work)

Pickguards...
It´s just that... a piece of plastic. You just gotta be careful that the side that goes against the guitar doesn´t have something that could damage the finish, in case you are gonna put it over a guitar which doesn´t have one. Also, remember the wholes for the pots, pickups, etc... or you could just go out and buy one, they´re not expensive.

Well, I'm making my own in mirrored blue once I get some new pickup covers, knobs, and a switch tip. *All in black on my black Strat. *Gonna be nice! *And this way I get it for FREE.

Yep. *If it works out looking cool, I'm doin' it to any black guitar I get (UV777BK preferably). *I'll post pics when I finish the mod.

Pickguards...
just FYI, unless you have a source that will sell you the plastic in the amount you'll need, and cheap, you'll pay as much for a blank of that material as if you just get one done for you. *Plus, unless you're set up with a small engraving router set up, putting your edge bevels on is difficult, and cutting nice smooth holes is difficult. *
I've tried doing this, with less than desire-able results. *Now I have access to the proper equipment, but in order to be efficient money wise, I'd need to make a good dozen right off the top. *
