Yeah. I had some free time on my hands. It had a small cigarette burn on the pickguard, so I just went to town with a bottle of lighter fluid, some wet paper towels (to control it) and a healthy dose of pure boredom. It took awhile and it stank like CRAZY.

Once it dried I alcoholed-off any leftover lighter fluid and went over it about 30 times with clearcoat. The finish is perfect (so I can shine it up) and the result is pretty nifty.

is it all bumpy? or did you clear cloat it, sand, then clear coat?
