What kind of tips?

Yes, you can do it. Are you just taking the output to a guitar amp?

I usually go with my JPM --> Boss TG-3--> D'Larios Custom.
And I've got a piezo commin' my way soon.
just wondered if anyone are playing a piezo
through a GT-3

I've heard the best is to play it straight
through the PA.

Yes. You definitely want to split the piezo and magnetic signals and play it through a dedicated acoustic amp or go direct into the PA.

Piezo through a regular amp sounds like poo.
