Planet Waves Cables - worth the cash?

'm toying around with my stage rig and replacing the stuff that's too broke to fix and fixing the stuff that isn't too broke yet. I have noticed that my instrument cables have taken quite a beating and I'll definetley be replacing them. I checked out the PlanetWaves cables online and they seem pretty interesting....lots of little features and durability provisions. However the price is a little steep and I'd like to know whether they're really all they claim to be.

Anyone used these cables and feel that the price tag is or is not worth it?

Thanks....

Before spending the $ do a forum search here for cables or George L's. Making your own is a smart idea... glen

Planet Waves Cables

I've had my planet waves cable for a long time now. I haven't had any problem with it, it sounds fine. It stays in my guitar better than the other cables because they have those little dimples on jack to keep em in the guitar or amp. I like them.

I own a couple of these and boy do these cables last! As soon as I purchased one, I did a comparison with an old pos instrument cable and i heard a difference. Must be the gold-plating and noise suppression built on it. It holds very well on a rear-angle jack guitar. I'm sure you can get a good deal for a 15ft cable for $25.

Buy George L.'s or build your own: www.partsexpress.com . *For $60, I built around 60 feet of cable.
