Pocket POD

I've got a POD 2.0 right now, but wouldn't mind blowing 120$ or so on one of these simply to throw it in the guitar case.

http://line6.com/pocketpod/

But unfortunately, due to me being in Canada (and shops in the area being pretty weak) I haven't been able to test it out.

So POD users, does this live up to the POD standard?

Re: Pocket POD

Its not about it working different, I'm more on about the quality of the unit. And I don't trust online reviews much.

Re: Pocket POD

I might think bout getting one along with a small combo so I don't have to bring my mesa cab, yamaha power amp and rack system for small jams and things like that Just the 2.0 if it is any better I dont see why not spending the extra like 60 bucks or w/e it is

right now i own 3 pods. looking to sell one to get the pocket pod for practicing before shows. easier than setting up a seperate pod and such at a venue to warm up. for the price, it's hard to beat.

Re: Pocket POD

I'd like to get a pocket pod for my worship band. We practice every sunday, then play on wednesdays. I hate having to lug around my gt-8 and guitar. my gt-8 is HUGE! But i want a some good sounds, and good options. This pocket pod would go in my guitar case, and give me all those options. I'll wait for the price to drop a bit first though.

a gt8 and a guitar.... what a burden LOL.. maybe you should just program some midi, use some samples, put it all on a thumb drive and just take that to practice

"ok done!"
"That sounds like rain!"
"Whoops, wrong file"

I've dropped hints to that effect already. Every review I've read has been more than positive and even at list pricing it scores tops on value for money. The cons listed were difficulty in operation when used with the belt/strap clip (difficult to see the readout and not all that easy to reach the controls) and a tendency to fall off an amp if just placed on top of it (because it's so light). That was it, scored nearly top marks in everything else.
