POD Q..??? - simple question folks.

Thinking of getting a POD, my hardrive space is on critical, how much space does the SoundDiver software take up??

Should I get a POD for practicing, do they sound any good through a Hi-Fi??

POD Q..???

PODs will sound as good as any other FX processor through a stereo. *I used mine to practice at home through a Gorilla 20 watt amp and it actually impressed me.

I have never used the Sound Diver software, I have never found a need to use it. *If I remember correctly, it doesn't take up much space on the HD.

Bottom line is this - it's a great piece of equipment, well worth it's price.

POD Q..???

Strat110,
I just checked my SoundDiver directory; it's clocking in at just 1.93 Megabytes right now - this would be subject to any saved libraries of sounds and such, but that's about the size of it.
It's very very tiny, and yet gives you /very/ convenient access to a lot of the features in the POD/2.0 that are either only available by combination controls on the face of the kidney itself, as well as some parameters that are ONLY adjustable via the software.
(eg: the noise gate is quite severe when you kick it in as a default, but by running SoundDiver, you can adjust the parameters more to your liking.
Hope this helps.
