pup selector switch question

on my rg321 body, it has a 3/5way selector switch (not toggle)
anyway, i was wandering if i could instal a sliding switch like on the mustang like they have for sale at allparts. i was wandering if you guys think it would work?

I'm not sure if it is the exact same size to fit in the route or if it has the exact same toggle options (probably does, but haven't used them). It is just a switch though, so if neither of those end up being a problem, it would be fine.

My 2 cents here. The slide switches will not fit without routing the hole. Plus, those sliding switches are crap and are not as fats to use as the 5-way strat style switches. Maybe if you can describe what you are looking for, we can offer more detailed advice.
