Question about ohms.

I have a marshall AVT 100 combo amps. I want to know if I can use the controls as a head and plug a 4X12 cab into it for the speakers. On the back of the amp where the normal speaker plugs in it says Loudspeaker then under that it says (Minimum total Imp. 8 ohms) then under that is the jack then under the jack it says Internal (8 ohms). Im not sure if there is any rule for ohms and what you can plug into what. Thank you for what information you provide.

Re: Question about ohms.

I'm running my AVT 20 through a 4X12 Marshall Cab. Not 100% on the AVT100, but I just plug into the LS out, and plug into my 4X12. It's a VAST improvement over the 1X10 in the combo.

Not sure about any impedance rules, but the results are great.
