Question about the Whammy

Long time ago I bought a used Whammy. Everything is perfect except the fact that it does not return to the original position (the one without effects = foot on top) after you use it (same as happening with Cry-Baby etc...)

Does it comes with a spring making it return to the top as happening with the Bad Horsie when you buy it new?

If not I think it should and I am going to buy a spring in fact because that way I find it much more usable.

Re: Question about the Whammy

Is there a switch that switches it off and on?

Re: Question about the Whammy

yep but there's a little time between the moment you switch on and you put the foot. If you touch the guitar in that moment some rare things will sound.

If the pedal is completely up the guitar will stay in tune.
