Rack n00b needs advice

Alright guys

Ive been playing for about 12 years now , and ive decided to buy a proper setup.

Im currently playing an RG1550GXW and an RG2610E , into a Korg AX300g (amazing little board) into my pc , mainly for reording and composing. I also use a Roland ax-7 keytar.

checkout myspace.com/almightyexcalibur to give you an example of what im into

Ive decided to go all valve, all rack, and ive came up with the following;

Triaxis or ADA preamp
Mesa 2:90 Poweramp
G major fx
Korg Triton (for the keytar)
Korg Tuner
Mesa 2x12 vc30s

Can anyone advise me or comment on the setup, in regards to teh style of music i play. Will it cope with it etc ?

ADA MP1 or Triaxis? The Triaxis seems to be all powerful , but the ada is so much cheaper...

Will i be able to simultaneously play guitar through this setup , whilst a friend accompanies on keytar? Asin, will i be able to run both inputs and outputs through the one speaker?

Daymn! Racks are confusing !

since so many pro's play racks, anything you can imagine can be done.
BUT, your keytar wouldn't sound that well.

Guitar setups and speakers are not made for full range sounds ( full frequency spectrum ). Therefore, your keytar sounds will be dull.
My best option would be to include a full-range PA poweramp for the keytar and a seperate speaker.
With regards to the mp1 and triaxis question.. the ada is often referred to as the poor man's triaxis. That being said, it truly is the poor man's option. The triaxis offers more flexibility and nicer sounds.
Is it worth the extra money ? Depends on how much cash you have...

In that case it looks like an extra month of saving !

Can anyone fill me in on the difference between a mesa 2:90 and a mesa 20/20 ?
Ive read the 2:90 is needed to get the full force of the triaxis , but it might be a bit loud.
The 20/20 seems to fit my needs mor and is cheaper, but i dont wqnat to compromise on sound quality.

Also , ive been checking out some youtube videos of the triaxis, and there are some REAL ****ty tones out there.
Is this amp all its cracked up to be ? Im into bands like Pagans Mind , Sonata Arctica , Liquid Tension , Yngwie , Jens Johansson etc
Is this the best amp for that kindof sound, or is there a beacon of shred out there i have overlooked?

Financially Cautiously yours

The 20/20 is great, the 2:90 will blow your mind.

I upgraded from the 20/20 and I had no idea how alive my cab could sound. I am running a huge old Peavey cab with 4 G12-85 Celestions that I didn't know how much more punch they could deliver, but I was under driving them with the 20/20. The second I plugged in the 2:90 and hooked it all up, I about _______ fill in the blank...

I also got a huge deal on the 2:90 so it was an easy upgrade, but none the less, had I known sooner what the difference was, I would have upgraded sooner and spent more.
That's me, though.

I have some clips that feature the 20/20 on our myspace page.

We're recording some new stuff with the triaxis-2:90 combo when I get back from Colorado. I will be happy to share that when I can.

The one difference is live volume levels. We rehearse in a decent sized space and of course I'm competing with the drums, bass and keys, so the 2:90 handles the volume effortlessly.

there's 3 reasons why a lot of the Triaxis clips sound like ass on youtube.

A: The R-tard never changed the tubes, Mesa tubes suck balls
B: The R-tard has no clue how to dial in a good sound or hook his gear up right and
C: youTube Compresses the hell out of audio.

Once you get a Triaxis and a 2:90 you will never go back.

here's my Rig:
