Recommend me a good multi effects processor

I currently own a TC Electronic g-major, which sounds pretty good, but the electronics are ****ed up and it's next to impossible to use the processor live because of this.

So can anyone recommend me another good effect processor? The most important effects for me are delay and reverb.

A new G Major.. I have a G major and love it, and would replace it if the one I had broke. Although, i know that isn't the answer you are looking for.

I have a replifex on the way that gets very good reviews. once i try it out a bit i'll give you my opinion on it. What kind of budget are you on??

Well, I really like the sound of the g-major, but the electronics are bugging me, and I ahve heard of a few others with the same problem, so I do not dare buy one more.

My budget is 500$ max.

Re: Recommend me a good multi effects processor

I have problems with my gmajor also.I just bought a digitech gsp1101.I haven't tried it yet.I hope to get it in my rack today and see what it can do.I like the fact you can use your own preamp and disable the internal one.I'll be using it with a randall rm100,ground control pro and 2 expression pedals.I'm pretty hopeful this will meet my needs.I haven't used digitech stuff in years, only tc and lexicon.Hopefully it will meet my expectations.Let you guys know after I play with it for a while.

Re: Recommend me a good multi effects processor

I just got a GT-8 today, and its awesome! I figured just about all I needed in about a 30 minute sit-down with it. Its got some awesome effects, and I also had a chance to play with some buddies with it today, and they were very impressed.

Re: Recommend me a good multi effects processor

I had a GT-8 but sold it. The modelling was not great and the 4cm had a fair amount of tone suckage.

I'm pretty sure you can bypass the amp modeling...I haven't done it yet, but I'm pretty sure I've read about it- maybe I'm wrong though.

You sure can. It still isn't as transparent as some processors though.

Re: Recommend me a good multi effects processor

Get a GT-Pro and you'll have even more features than the GMajor.

At that price range, more features means less individual quality.
