RG2127x coming within 2 weeks, equipment adjustment

Alright, I have a rg2127x coming in 2 weeks.. Now as it has double outputs, do you guys know if there's anything on the market, with which I can run 2 outputs through one cable or something? Cause I'd hate to run 2 cables from my guitar from now on... Anyway, how do you guys handle the double edges in your rig and stuff?

I'd recommend you run the piezos through something other than your main amp. If you run both signals through the same amp, it won't sound right, and it'll limit things greatly. I'd recommend running straight to the board in a live situation, or find some sort of acoustic amp/pre-amp/whatever.

I think the answer you're looking for is to use a stereo cable with splitters at each end.

well both your posts are helpful... But what I was aiming at, was the second one.. I don't want to run around with 2 cables all the time.

What's your experience with double edges then. And how do you run 2 outputs in your rig?

Another option is a mono cable with an A/B switcher, which would work if you don't want piezo and mags at the same time.

The Double Edge guitars have an A/B switcher in them already, if you just want to use a mono cable.

I know Kevan has been working diligently to source a stereo barrel jack, which would be a nicer option than the two jacks.

Raffel: There's probably tons of information elsewhere in the site... if you do a search for "2027", you'll probably get a lot of info on what rigs people are using. I've got a Parker, and i send my magnetic signal to a GT-6 and then into whatever amp or PA is handy. My piezo signal goes into a SansAmp Acoustic DI and into the board.

This I know (s2020 owner). What I had in mind was switching amplification...something the guitar won't do with a single cable.
