Riviera TBR?

Well here's what I found at my local guitar shop:

Used Riviera TBR w/ foot controller AND fuzzy Riviera 2x12 ported - dual slant vertical cab.

Price - $888.

You can tell by the crust covering the LED's on the footswitch that this one's been gigged pretty heavily. Other than a lot of dust and grime on the outside of the chassis, the only fault I can see is a missing knob on the lower reverb selector.

I didn't get a chance to plug in and try it out because it's Christmas Eve. I'm off on Friday so I might go back and check it out.

This deal sounds too cheap. What could possibly be wrong here?

Actually, as long as all is in working order, that price is about right. Might need a thorough cleaning and a retubing, but $888.00 for the TBR & cab isn't bad. That's about what I've got in my TBR-2SL and fuzzy 2x12" ported cab w/ Celestion 75's. Not a bad deal, as long as all of the controls work and it sounds ok!
