Rockman X-100 - Anyone out there using these?

I just picked up a Rockman X-100 pretty cheaply from e-bay, and I've been messing around with it for the better part of the evening. Although not incredibly versatile, the tone is pretty sweet. A few questions, if anybody knows the answers I'd appreciate it...

1. Were power supplies ever made for these things, or do I need to buy stock in Duracell to keep up my stash of AA batteries?

2. What does the blue trim pot on the back control? It looks like the label by it was peeled off, so I don't know what it does?

3. My clean channels sound very hot (esp. Clean 2). They sound better when playing the guitar at 1/2 volume. Is this normal, or is it just good reason for me to avoid using EMG pickups?

I think it's cool that you can turn either chorus or echo off, but you can't turn both of them off. The 'Normal' setting has both chorus and echo enabled.

If anyone actually has a manual for one of these puppies and would be willing to send me a copy or allow me to make a copy, I'd find some way to try to make it worth your while.

Thanks,
--B

Rockman X-100

I have 2 of these. Yes, they made adapters for them. Dunlop is making the Guitar Ace, which was a low end Rockman when Scholz was making them. They might have adapters that fit. The trim pot controls gain on all channels except DIST. So you might try turning that down if you're getting distortion on the clean channels. I do have a manual. I could mail a copy to you. E-mail your address.
