**UPDATE**
First of all, I want to say that I finally got to the modding part of the job today. I did the following to my Dunlop Crybaby: took out the buffer circuit, installed a new smooth switch, converted it to true bypass and added one 68k resistor (original value was 33k). Holy crap, everybody mod your Crybaby now, it sounds great! And I've only tried it on a small
practice amp so far. It's really a long story, but I went through many mistakes because I didn't read the instructions well.
Now onto the rubber stops. Well, I changed my mind, considering I'm enjoying the extra foot movement. The only thing I'm going to do is glue a small ... something to the back part of the pedal, because it always "clanks" when the metal hits. Other than that, it's great. The front part of the pedal doesn't make noise, it's just sensitive, you gotta not step too hard or you'll turn the wah off. So, I'm glad I did the mod and glad I took the rubber feet off after all!
