I have a
Sansamp PSA 1.1 since a couple weeks and I play it with my Schecter C-1 Classic through a Palmer Speaker Simulation (the guitar one) and into a Tascam US-122 and my PC. Now if I leave the distortion sounds that way it sounds kinda crappy, of course that's even worse without the Palmer. I have to add an EQ (plug-in) to get rid of that horrible harsh sound.
The Sansamp and Palmer plugged right into a mixer and a PA sounds good though.
Both set ups with a TC Electronic G-Sharp in the effects loop.
Forgot to mention that I'm using Tracktion and Alesis monitors.
Now my question: Why is that? What's the difference? As far as I know there's no EQ set in the mixer.
