Sell my Egnater TOL100??

Hi there.
I've been thinking of selling my Egnater (Rocktron) TOL100 head for a while now. Here in Norway I can expect the price to be 1500-1600 $... I know there has been some other for sale, that has been sold in that range.
But then the question. What should I buy? I really don't know. Could someone give me some hints? I'm getting kind of bored withg the sound the Eggie produces...
Any thoughts well appreciated!

Try Buddas, THDs, all that gear 'shredders' usually shun. You might find very cool tones. And if gain is an issue, you can always slam a good dist/boost pedal in the signal path to get things a bit nastier.
Get an amp which gets out the sound of your guitar, not an amp that always sounds like that amp, if you know what I'm saying.

I've noticed that stuff that really work and sound great don't have all the knobs and bells & whistles in the world, so don't judge an amp because they look simple. The just might very reactive to your touch and other gear thus providing lots of sounds.

Check out www.custom-sounds.com they have lotsa rap about high-endish gear.

Buy a designer suit or a widescreen TV

Oh, you mean a new amplifier? I think the important thing is to try out as many amps as you can. I don't know how easy this is in Norway and what brands are easily available?

Cornfords are getting some great press over here in the UK and Satch himself just commissioned a 100W head from them, if you're after something "unusual" that would be my first recommendation.

I disagree...I think that all guitars should have their own sound through any amp, but I think an amp should definately have its own voice to add to the picture. Except with acoustic amps...

-I'd hate to have to add anything on top of an amp costing around $1500 for only 30 watts...

That's just my opinion, Im not trying to argue.

No Im not

No Im not...
