I may of had a change of heart. Now im really getting into logic pro 8 at college and can make it do anything i want it to. It has tons of plug ins, apart from the harmonizer but I can buy a pitch factor at a later date. THe H3000 is going on 3bay!

Yeah and the way they speak to you its as if they think they're doing you a favour!!!! PMSL. They dont live on this planet do they. cars are the worst thing, I had 10 years experiance in the motor trade. you do meet the odd decent person the but majority are just 5hit bags, they lie through there teeth about there car (part ex) having full service history, mot tax, amount of owners. I used to write the part ex details down on the order form so when they came to pick up there new car that was as I said would be full mot, serviced ect ect ect. I would check the part ex details only to find very short mot (if any at all) "oh it was there this morning with the other document, wasnt it george" .
no service history and the list goes on. Theres an old saying in the motor trade " All buyers are liars"

the eventide sounds like a waste of space, for most guitarists.. i'd dump it..
if you have someone knowledgeable, i'd buy a good PC, over the mac..

The problem is logic is only available for mac. I have cubase sx3 my pc cant cope with it, it keeps crashing. logic has lots of instruments and 10,000 apple loops and runs very well on the imacs that we use at college.
you stick to pc, Im getting a mac. ;-)

I sold my Eventide years ago.
I would never sell my Mac (unless I get a new one) and there is nothing that beats Logic Pro, especially if you can throw in a logic mate.

If you do that, don't do what I did and be a smart arse trying to order from the US to get it cheaper. I spent the best part of two months contacting every dealer in the UK, all giving me quotes of between £400 and £600. Then I found one on **** going new for £305 with a moog expression pedal thrown in for good measure.
Muggins here (me) forgot he was ordering a product from the US and so was a bit confused to find an American power supply with his pitchfactor... which I am now having to find a replacement for which is an ordeal in itself. The jack from the power supply is much larger than my BOSS Power Supply, so I've had to hunt down a power supply which can be altered and has a variety of connections. (Eventide kindly chose against stating anywhere in the instructions, packaging or even on the power supply itself what size the power supply jack is.)
So yeah, if you get a pitchfactor, just buy it from the UK and save yourself a hassle. Four days I've had mine, not been able to play with it yet.
