Well i'm about to order a rack to put some equipment in and then i'll take a pic but i'm just interested to see what you guys are running!

Here's my setup so far:

Korg DTR-2
BBE 462 Sonic Maximizer
ADA MP-1

Soon to be on the way hopefully is a furman power conditioner and carvin TS100 to finish 'er off!

Also, if you'd like, include prices so we can all ooooooooh and ahhhhhhhh on how much it costs and how perrrrrrrrrrrty it looks.

Re: SHOW US YOUR RACK!!!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, PRETTY LIGHTS!!!

Quite the rig you got there.

Say you're looking for an amp? I've heard the mosvalve 962s are nice and not a real burden on the wallet, also the peavey 50/50 which is tube or the 60/60. I think i'm going to go with the carvin though because even new it doesn't break the bank and is all tube which is a plus.

Re: SHOW US YOUR RACK!!!

Sorry about the poor quality photo, but this was taken yesterday...so it's almost current.
I replaced one of the Randall RM4's with a Mesa Recto Recording Preamp...so that's not shown in this pic.

Left Rack (Top To Bottom)
Audio Technica Digital Wireless <not visible>
Axess Electronics BS-2 Splitter <not visible>
Power Conditioner
Randall RM4
TC Electronic G-Major
VHT 2/90/2
<This rack is feeding two of the Genz Benz G-Flex cabinets>

Middle Rack (Top To Bottom)
Marshall 8008 Power Amp
Behringer V-Amp Pro
Line 6 Pod XT Pro
Randall RM4 <This was just replaced with a Mesa Recto Recording Pre>
VHT 2/90/2
<This rack is feeding two of the Genz Benz G-Flex cabinets>

Right Rack (Top To Bottom)
dbx 215 EQ
GCX Switcher
TC Electronic G-Major
Monster Power Conditioner
Mesa Boogie Mark IV Head
<This rack is feeding one of the Genz Benz G-Flex cabinets>

I'm actually playing thru all three racks at the same time, but it's so much overkill, it's not funny.
When I play live, I typically just take the left rack and two Genz Benz cabs

Re: SHOW US YOUR RACK!!!

Dude, that is seriously impressive amounts of overkill.

Is all that controlled through a midiboard? I assume it must be otherwise you must have the biggest pedal board to control all of that.

Yes, it's all midi controlled (even the Mark IV).

For most gigs, I just use the rack on the left side (RM4/VHT) and a Behringer FCB1010, since I can get all that gear to fit in a 6 space rack. I *try* to keep my play-out right as small and easy to carry as possible, but the gear junkie in me always wants to be more elaborate and take more gear.

I think I'm going to move my main live rack over to a 10 space rack and use the Recto pre and RM4 at the same time and use the GCX / Ground Control Pro setup to control it all... That's my plan at least.
I'll try that this weekend maybe.
